Bizzabo Reports 40% Increase in In-person Events and Hires Industry Veteran to Lead Klik

We’re excited to announce a 40% increase in in-person events hosted on the Event Experience Operating System in the first half of 2023 compared to the same period in 2022. The increase is expected to continue in 2024, as 86.4% of organizers say they plan to schedule more or the same number of in-person B2B events next year, according to a recent survey

Bizzabo is powering some of the largest and most innovative in-person conferences this fall, including SaaStr in San Francisco, Hubspot’s INBOUND in Boston, and Elevate Festival in Toronto. As demand for modern, data-rich conference technology grows, Bizzabo has hired event industry veteran Will Curran as Head of Klik. In this role, Curran will lead the growth and strategy for Klik Experiential, Bizzabo’s wearable event technology for B2B conferences and flagship events.

Curran has over 15 years of experience as the founder and CEO of event management company Endless Events. Curran is also the creator of the #EventProfs Community and hosts the event industry podcasts, #EventIcons, Event Brew, and Event Tech Podcast.
