Crazy days prior to our private beta launch – How does it feel?

Crazy days prior to our private beta launch – How does it feel?

We are just about to launch our private beta in the American market. We are doing it during TechCrunch Disrupt in San Francisco next week. The past couple of months at Bizzabo have  been something between one big, bonded family and an elite commando unit focused on its mission.

It’s been an addictive cycle of starting the day with the whole team over a bowl of cereal and ending it with a pizza (oh, and I must mention the awesome homemade lunch competition – but that’s for another post…). That cycle and being surrounded by a group of talented individuals simply make you feel alive and kicking! We’ve had a lot of things going on here recently. What our ninja R&D team did in such a short time is really something phenomenal (trust me on this one :).

One of the things we’ve learned and dealt with the most is to focus – trying to constantly think about what is the best product we can create for our users.
This is the reason we wake up every morning (of course we tell our spouses they are the reason). I guess the toughest part of all this is deciding what not to do.
What are we taking out of scope? Steve Jobs said it best: “People think focus means saying yes to the thing you’ve got to focus on.  But that’s not what it means at all.  It means saying no to the hundred other good ideas that there are. You have to pick carefully.  I’m actually as proud of the things we haven’t done as the things we have done.  Innovation is saying ‘no’ to 1,000 things.”
True, we obviously haven’t done enough yet to claim that that’s what we’ve done. However, you have to admit – this is one heck of an inspiring philosophy!
As you probably can guess by now, not everything we wanted in the app is included yet in this released version. But, what is in there is what’s most important and should provide our users with the best possible experience to begin with. And you know what the real beauty is? It will only get better and better!
We are passionate about bringing technology to where it can become a game changer. In our case it’s about creating a solution that will make our business networking interactions a lot more fun, social and efficient.
If you are attending TechCrunch Disrupt San Francisco, you should really check out what our team has been working so hard on to make everyone’s networking experience there much better.
We’ve also looked very carefully at the event organizers’ needs. And I’m telling you, these guys work so hard on every event within a very limited time frame. That’s why we built a product for everyone involved at a business event that can be used easily in just a few minutes.
Speaking of having expenses, we came up with a way for you, as an organizer, to generate more revenues using Bizzabo at your event. Hard to believe? Check it out for yourself. Currently, we’ve launched our private beta.
We have already introduced Bizzabo at dozens of events where the feedback and statistics so far have been phenomenal! Bizzabo will publicly launch very soon. But until then, if you are an event organizer (small or large), we welcome you to register on our website. We will answer all of your questions and needs with regard to social, real-time engagement, mobile innovation and any other related issues in no time.
Interested? Drop us a line and tell everyone you know in the “biz” about Bizzabo. If you think we can do business together, let’s talk. Send us an email and maybe we can even arrange a meeting soon. We will be in San Francisco and NYC in the next two weeks (Sept. 10-20).
